Preview: Hiestand Park

The WCA Crank Daddy’s Cyclocross Series has reached December and this week is Wizard Cross at Hiestand Park in Madison. This is a new venue and will have hard climbs, technical descents, fast off cambers and, if the forecast is to be believed, maybe some snow. When you arrive at the venue you will need to park on Wittwer Road. Registration, water and bathrooms are inside Glide Disc golf pro shop. Please thank them for allowing the use of their shop and the park!  As always there will be Sram neutral support at this event so even if the weather gets bad you will be in good hands!

There will be free beer and chili at the event as well as tons of swag and custom Wizzard Discs. The course will be ready for pre-riding after 3pm Saturday but please don’t ride at Hiestand except for this weekend as it isn’t open to cycling normally.
